01Starting point
An inspection company documented the regular inspection of fall-protection equipment on paper. That cost time during inspection, when typing up and when searching for old records.
02Approach
- 01Translated the paper form into a guided inspection together – field by field, with required inputs.
- 02A QR code per device: scanning opens the inspection with device data and history.
- 03Signature on the device, followed by an automatically generated PDF with an inspection badge.
- 04Delivered as an installable web app (PWA) for tablets and phones.
03Outcome
After five days the app was in use. Records are now completed during the inspection and can be found at any time.
